We will always attempt to repair a door or window on our initial visit if we think this can be carried out. Our window and door engineers have a vast knowledge of various different window mechanism styles, makes and models, they also carry a large stock of parts for repairing locks, hinge and balance systems. This includes, but is not limited to tilt and turn windows, aluminium and PVC vertical sliding windows, PVC casement windows, top hoppers, doors, patio doors and door locks among others. We will try whenever possible to source the parts required from our wide ranging network of hardware manufactures.
In the uncommon event that we are unable to source the parts, in most instances, our skilled engineer can perform modifications to the parts we are able to source in order to make your window or door operational.
We only use parts of the highest quality from major manufacturers such as Fuhr, Mila and Shuhco. We keep parts for and try our hardest to find parts for older windows. Although we also can also offer you brand new windows and doors with up to 12 years guarantee.
Occasionally, our customers will have difficulty opening or closing their windows or doors in many cases, these issues can be resolved with adjustments being made to them. There are a variety of reasons adjustments may be required, whether it be movement in the structure of the building or within the window or door frame itself. Our skilled engineer will take the time required to ensure that the work is carried out to a high standard. Adjustments often involve lifting hinges to allow for freer opening and closing of windows and doors.
